I spent a very happy traineeship at Bonar Mackenzie and was delighted to be offered a position as a solicitor here. The most rewarding part of my job is when a client feels that they can rely on me to be a calm and knowledgeable guide, during difficult and often distressing times. I also enjoy using that knowledge to help clients plan for the future and protect their families against uncertainty.
I love the family feel in the office, which translates into the firm's approach to their clients - every client is different and I am encouraged to recognise their individual concerns and tailor my advice to their own, unique situation.
Outside the office I spend a great deal of time running with Harmeny Athletics Club in Edinburgh. My preferred distance is the marathon and I have run three to date, all at times below 3 hours.
