Anne Cornelius
Originally from Ayrshire, I gained my law degree from the University of Edinburgh and, following post graduate legal study in Germany, I returned to Edinburgh to train and practise as a solicitor.
With over 10 years' experience of commercial litigation, gained in the contrasting environments of a large firm and then in my own practice, I joined Bonar Mackenzie's commercial litigation team in July 2007. I have a keen interest in employment law, contract and property disputes, and intellectual property matters.
To me, Bonar Mackenzie offers the best of both worlds. Its size promotes a friendly and relaxed working environment where people matter. At the same time, there is a depth of collective expertise and support which underpins the firm's commitment to providing pragmatic, accessible and high calibre legal advice.
When not at work, I can be found at the gym or relaxing with friends over a glass of wine. I am a former figure skater, have taught children to competitive levels and still maintain an interest in the sport. I also enjoy foreign travel and speak German fluently.
